The Hmong Community of Metro-Detroit is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We commit ourselves to act as a team in accordance with the highest levels of integrity and ethical behavior. We are here to serve those who are in need. We listen to our member's need, anticipate in their future requirements, and develop solutions to ensure that our mission is accomplished.

Mission

Our mission is to empower the Hmong children and families of Michigan. We will work to achieve lifelong successes and improve the Hmong Community with the help of effective action and leadership of trained professionals and volunteers. We are committed to enhancing the positive quality of individual, family, and community life by providing services and assistance that are readily available and accessible to the needs of the Hmong Community. HCMDI is committed in working with other communities to help facilitate and promote solutions for the enrichment of all people.
